JOODLES UPDATE Joodles has just called me on the phone, and she sounds heaps better than yesterday, talking almost normal without the gasps for air! (but then she did just come off the oxygen) No probs with the scan, a patch on pnemonia in one corner, and they are starting her on some stonger drugs tonight! She thinks she will be out of hospital tomorrow, promises she will take things easy, but says she has two important appointments on Monday she can't miss! Is she taking up my request for her to come stay a few days . . . ?? Time will tell She is bored, can't get online, dragging the magazine stories out because she forgot to take her book. Through all kinds of weather, what if its night or day just sitting at our puters, ...... and Waffling away. So our Wattlelotto's making no money and the other alf dont think thats its funny, but we Waffle along, with a laugh and a song side by side. Searching for our dead peeps in-a Gene-a-logical way so what if we dont find E'm they'll haffta stay that way. Don't know what's comin' tomorrow... Ta for the thoughts Laurie, sorry Shazz, never crossed my mind! We will be down there again in November - I'll find the dates. Actually we are going to stay in Christian's Minde - across the river. John got friendly with the owners when we were last down there. They are direct decendants of the original family who first settled the area. Sad story really as their health has made it impossible to carry on with the guest house but they can't really sell it for what it is worth as there is only 15 years (I think) left on the original lease and then it reverts to National Park. Incredible history. They are giving John a lot of boat stuff for him to restore etc. They want to see it go to a good home. Our place is looking more and more like a museum!!!!!
