Can't resist, I think Lew Lew's bits look like the Sydney harbour bridge, if you scwint (can't spell had to have a drink after that driving lesson) where does one find said bits? please, Jill. ps I hail from Ipswich near where all those lovely? accidents happen almost every week morning near to the toll road turn off, off the Ipswich road. Retiring soon and moving up the coast where the whales are, bliss. J |

Well, Jill, as I lived in Sydney for 27 years, it's only appropriate that my bits look like the coathanger, lol. I confess that I 'nicked' me bits from another website. It's a cut and paste process. You have to go to 'My Account Details' to the left and paste bits in front of your first name and after your last. Does that make any sense? As I've already had a glass of chardy (I was nervous for you), someone else might be able to explain the process more clearly. Lew Lew xxx |

Hi Jill You will need to go into....'My Account Details' then to change your name, or add bling, you go to bottom left corner to start button. If you go into ....programmes, then accessories, then system tools ....you'll find character map. It's a kind of font thing. It also has different shapes...eg. diamonds, hearts etc in the different fonts. A lot of them look good but only show up as squares on here. It is a trial and error thing. I don't have it on my puta as it's only '98 but if yours is a newer version you should be right. I've just read this and it sounds a little messy. Can anyone explain it clearer for Jill, please? love Dianne.....but my friends on here call me Trifley |

Hi Jill, as LL said, you need to go into account details, left of screen and there you will find your name etc. (You can change it if you like) Then you will need to open another window and find what you want and cut and past or if you have Windows 2000 go to All programs, Accessories, System tools, Character map. Choose from the characters, click and a bar comes up giving directions to copy. then paste beside your name in GR window. Not all Characters will work on GR and there appears to be a set space allowance. trial and error. When you are happy scroll down a short way and click save. then come back to here and add a post and see what turns up :) Vonny Oh well, I told you I type slow LOL |
