Evening all Thanks for the gold lotto numbers Suzy Q and Tony. It's Mother's Day this weekend so perhaps that is a good omen for us. Just checked out the piccies of the mini Mudgee meet - some very foxy ladies and it looks as if a good time was had by all. Why are you the chicken herder Joodles? Obviously something going on there that we don't know about! What with an attempted strangling, herding chickens etc you must have had a hard day! Tony - you are very quiet - hope all is OK. I can see why there has been a mix up with GR photos page and a porn site - Trifley's artifact has obviously attracted the wrong sort of attention. Have a good one Anna

Anna - that was Lew's nick name for me ...... gee she's quick!!!! I was just recounting a story of me chasing my daughter's 3 chickens back into their cage, and how they led me a merry dance all round the yard, stupid bloody things - I'd get one right up to the gate and then it was ..... which way will she go, I'll go the opposite way!!!! I would have let them be. All I was suppposed to do was get the eggs, and the stupid bloody things got out behind me!!!, but as she was at work, I thought if I didnt get them back in the cage, they would decimate her garden! I might add, the big dog was just sitting there watching! Jood, the Chicken Herder

Oh dear Jood - alias chicken herder.... The things that happen when there's not a video camera in sight! You could have been a candidate for funny home videos! Reminds me of when I was a kid. We used to let our chooks free range during the day and lock them up at night so that the foxes didn't get them. If we were a bit late and it started getting dark, the silly buggers would roost in the pepperina trees around the chook pen and immediately fall asleep. My brother and I had to climb up the trees and scoop them off the branches! What a hoot!Hens are so stupid! Glad you had a good day and hope Laurie is home safely. Luv Anna

Hi Wattlers Goodness me gardening can be sooo exhausting and I was only doing the supervising. Saw the photos from the mini Mudgee meet. You 3 look as if you had a great time. What a lovely day yesterday, it was cool though, car was telling em it was 10degs, yet at about 8.30pm it was 15deg here on the Bay - always a little warmer by the water. The lovely Ray is a real smartie . . . I asked him to bring me how some of the heat from over there and he asked what colour sweater I wanted. I am amazed this morning . . . have just received an email from the chap, Flemming in Denmark who is looking for my dead peeps for me, and he informs me that on Monday 29th May, he will go to Langeland Island for 4 nights to visit records office, churches and graveyards for me to take photos and collect documents on my family. How kind is that, and for no fee! Wonder, was it my mum or my grandpop who arranged that meeting in Singapore ? ? ? I did it!! I've seen the pics. I was leaving the s off photospage...derrrr Anyone doing anything special for Mothers Day? We had dinner with Roys Mum last night for her 81st birthday and will pop in on sunday with some flowers and my sister and I will go to Geelong and take my mum out for lunch tomorrow. I will spend sunday with my daughter and probably go out for lunch. With a bit of luck we will also be celebrating our lotto win...lol Jude2
