Hi Wafflers........you'll be able to recognise me in Brissie! I'll be the one wearing a tiara and singing...'Tiara boom te ay, Tiara boom te ay....' Hi Sandra in the Gong.....Graeme is the one with some dead peeps in that area (I think). The Chapmans and the Lethbridges all sprouted in Pimlico and the Yeo lot stuck their heads up in Devon. Most of my lot are from Ireland and Lancashire. There are, of course, as with everyones trees, peeps who seemed to appear out of the mists of time. Why they didn't keep proper records, I'll never know. They must have known I would want to do the bl***y family trees! Lew Lew......yaayyy you're coming to Brissie :o). Now we'll have someone to keep Rebs out of trouble. How is beautiful Ruby? Learning to say 'gold' yet? I'm crawling off to bed now to get some well earned sleep. See ya all in the morrow. ~~~~~~~~waves and big <<<hugs>>> from me on the Royal Barge love Trifley |

Evening all, had a lovely afternoon with friend, shopping for an outfit for her to wear to her brothers marriage or funeral as the dear girl likes to call it - silly girl was going to wear black to mark the occasion, but I convinced her to part with heaps of her money to make sure she was noticed. (she calls it her pob dress - p*ss off the bride) Got weekly cert. today - now will have to find a coroners report and find out all about gtgramps Falk - Accidental shooting in Colliss Paddock near Brewarrina on either 25th or 26th July 1898 - did find out he spent 9 years in Tassie, before coming to NSW, so know to concentrate on shipping down that way and try to find him at least some direction to go. Been hunting for years for record of gtgrans death - got msg today which cleared the fog . . . why when your looking for BEETSON in NSW wouldn't you look up BUTSON ?? There she is . . . I need a Lotto win so I can buy all the certificates on the 'I want' list . . . limit myself to one a week, but I must add 6 onto the list every week. Mothers day coming up wonder how many certs I can milk it for ! Talk about coincidence - The lovely Ray let me know when I was in town that he would be working later this afternoon, so I knew dining out was not a good idea - picking up some fruit - saw the leek, grabbed some & some mushrooms to make a chicken, leek & mushy quiche - come on her and read Lew & Jude eating the pies! - very yummy stuff - plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Ah Tony, sounds like you hit a rock on the road - hope things are OK with daughter, dont you just hurt when all not OK with your kids - and the darn things no matter how old they are they are still the biggest worry and the greatest joy of your life. Mary and her garden . . . now let me see - think there is a nursery rhyme in there some place . . . Rebs, I dont know where Lew is getting hers, but I only gave away one of your praline flakes - and it wasn't to Lew . . . yours are somewhere between here and Bris in a box bound for sons place. Will let you know when he gets it. Sorry . . . little girl downstairs gave me a box of choccies for Easter and I hadn't got her anything so she got one of your flakes in a little bag I just had on hand. Thats four, and I got 5 - but then I already told you we tried one so that means you get three !!! belated Happy Easter :-)))) I done good - feel asleep in armchair after dinner, woke and all the cleaning up done, magic mushrooms maybe ??? Anyway best get some sleep, Big day tomorrow, cause we leave here early Friday for the The Wattle extravaganzzzzaa in downtown Yarrawonga - I'm a coming with bells on! Night all cheers luv Laurie |

Morning Wafflers, Sorry just had to add this one couldnt resist hehe Johnny wanted to have his way with a girl in his office...but she belonged to someone else... One day Johnny got so frustrated that he went up to her and said I'll give you a $1000 dollars if you let me have my way with you but the girl said 'NO'. Johnny said 'I'll be fast, I'll throw the money on the floor, you bend down, I'll be finished by the time you pick it up'. She thought for a moment and said that she would have to consult her boyfriend.....so she called her boyfriend and told him the story. Her boyfriend says 'Ask him for $2000 dollars, pick up the money really fast, he won't even be able to get his pants down'. So she agrees and accepts the proposal. Half an hour goes by and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call. Finally after 45 minutes the boyfriend calls and asks what happened...... She said 'The b*****d used coins'. Management lesson: Always consider a business proposal in its entirety before agreeing to it and getting screwed. Dont ya just luv it Shaz |

Good One Shazz, you're up early! Well, the flight is booked and the car hired, so it's a definite date for Southbank on the 10th! I like Trifley's idea of the tiara. Perhaps we should all wear them! Now that would be a sight, lol. Foggy here in Mudgee this morning, can't see a thing. Well, that'll mean the mail will be late, 'cause the little plane can't land and it has to go to Dubbo or Bathurst and be trucked back in. Oh the joys of country living. Funny thing about the chicken, mushroom & leek pies. Great minds think alike. Well it's 64 sleeps, heee, heee. Off to have some breakfast. Seeya soon Lew Lew xxx |

Morning Lew Always up early im afraid, Rob starts work at 5.30 and its a 20min drive so we are up every morn at 3.30, hows the house going all settled in now, will be in QLD in June but have to travel back home on the 11th so am going to definitely try and meet up with you crazy bunch, have to work out how long it will take to travel up that way then I'll know for sure whether I can come to the meet as I dont like to travel all day if I can help it I like to stop and take time when travelling, I usually do most of the driving when going away because of Rob driving all week on these crazy city streets I like to give him a break besides Im a lousy passenger get bored very easily, short attention span I'm afraid hehe not too bad here this morning although I am sitting in the study with the heater but will have to get the butt moving soon and finish packing the van as we will be heading off about 6 in the morning, have a great day and dont work too hard if you can help it, did have to laugh about the chicken and mushroom pies with you lot as for country living sure do miss it sometimes, but certainly dont miss the frosty old morns in Lithgow having to hang the washing out early before leaving for school though anyway might see you all tonight if I get time to log on. Toodles Shaz |

Morning Wattlers, Just bringing us back to page 1 after Shazz's early morning msg and joke - thanks Shazz. Gosh I thought I got up early but 3.30 is waaayyy too early even for me. Guess it's what you get used to. Have a safe trip to Yarra Shazz - we'll see you there. Have you finished your packing?? Hi to everyone else - hope you're all having a good day. Lew - just saw you pop in on the licorice thread. How many Fridays now - cos hopefully that's when I will be able to give up my Wednesday shift and just work Friday-Sunday - not as good as retirement but then I had 16 years at home with my kids - bad luck I didn't have this hobby/obsession then - haha Lovely sunny day in Canberra but bit nipply where I'm sitting. Waiting on daughter to get ready so we can go to shops again. Catch up with y'all bit later, Gwenda |

Morning Wattlers, looks like GR has fixed lastnights problems. I spent the better part of 2hrs last night trying to post replys and finally had to give up. How bout all thos going to the Bris meet all wear feather boas and tiaras.....what a sight...lol Poor Brissy will think the Mardi Gras has come to town. Lew Lew & Joodles have a praline flake on the way but I have one left if anyone is interested.....dont leave it too long or I'll eat it. Tony hope your daughter is feeling better this morning and your sleepless night was for nothing. My youngest, who split with boyfriend of 5yrs last week, finally stopped crying long enough last night to go for coffee with a couple of friends. I hope this is a sign that she is getting things under control, its so hard to watch your kids in pain and not be able to help. Well back to work so I can leave early and cook a birthday dinner for my other half. He's just informed me he told his mum I'd pick her up this arvo so she came come for dinner..dont ya just lov'em?
