Hiya Lara & Lew Lew yes that's right Lobethal is very famous for it's lights at Christmas - my Aunt tells me many tourists visit and it gets so busy there but she loves it there. Before Lobethal she was farming somewhere in Pasadena (sp?) Lobethal looks lovely I did have a website about all the lovely lights - but I lost it and can't find it now - I love christmastime and lights etc. will have to save and come over to take a peek!! Well it's very late here and way past my bedtime so I shall say hello and goodnight as I need to go put my wrinklecream on and and get some beauty sleep - I had a busy day and am shattered now - can't stay awake no longer!! :0( Nite Nite all - don't let the bed bugs bite:0) Speak soon Lizzy x |

Nighty night Lizzie. But don't forget it's daytime here. Hey Lara, what's this about a walker? Surely, you've got one of those motorised scooter things with a pretty flag! *runs very fast to the Naughty Corner* Seeya, Lew Lew xxx |

Hi All Just popped on for a minute. Having a coffee in between that horrible word h.......k But someone has to do it. We have got another beautiful day here today cool but sunny. Girls have gone back to school, David's back at work after taking his holidays, all's left now is for me to clean the house and get it all straightened up again, boy they make a mess when they are home. Lara yes we are ok, I woke to the news on the radio about the miners being trapped in the mine collapse, they say there was a minor earth tremor, too small for us to feel it here, even thought it is only about 40 km from where we live. They are holding grave fears that they will get them out alive, so positive thoughts please, I dont think I know the people,I cant think of anyone I know that works in that field. They have released one name of a man that lived in Beaconsfield, the other 2 are believed to be from Launceston, but no names have been released about them two yet. Anna has your son settled in to his new place yet? Rebs sorry for uttering those words in my last message, but after I was taken to Windy Hill by those relations of Davids I thought it was good payback. Before all you lucky people head off for your weekend of non stop chatter and laughter at Yarrawonga, hope you all have a good one and think of us unlucky ones that couldnt make it :-((((( Well must finish my coffee and get back to you know what. Catch you all later. Cheers Sue |

Thats it I've had enough of you lot - I'm reporting you to GR - how dare you make insinuations about me that I am silly, up myself, old and wrinkled - I can see thru your words - I know your all talking about me - picking on me . . . . PMSL See I have learnt a lot this morning - took a look at what Shaz and others were referring to on the other threads . . . you gotta laugh or you would cry. I can't see any point to the stress they are putting in their lives - and they just keep adding fuel to the fire, verrryyy strange!!! Probably all very nice people, I have heard that sun exposure has a calming effect, maybe thats why us Aussies are so laid back! lol Brought up a funny memory though - my darling Mum, lets remember she had a house full of kids, whenever she didn't want to hear something or wanted us to stop messing up used to shout 'RHUBARB RHUBARB !!!!' I so wanted to to just add to the threads with 'RHUBARB' but didn't think they would get it. I KNOW!!! . . . . my Mum was really swearing at us in her mind!!!! She used to use swear words a lot, was always calling us little 'buggers' or 'bloody' kids We have lots of sunshine on the Bay this morning, with a bit of cloud around - but doesn't look like rain, and thankfully no cool breeze. Only three giraffes sunning their faces, but otherwise very quiet out there - even the traffic on Grand Parade this morning seems lighter. Lew, it ain't the wrinkles on your face - its the smiles in your eyes that count . . . (but thank god for anti wrinkle cream) Think I better get off here and go do something, might start packing like Shaz . . . lets see, red wine, red wine, Baileys . . . better go pack them while I think of it - you know what its like when the floopy disc get full . . . Talk later - have a great day all cheers luv Laurie |

Good Morning Wattlers Good grief you *loody lot can talk, 10 PAGES & 2 1/2 hours of reading! thats what I get for not being able to access computer for 4 days. (Jude sits holding her head and trying to touch type with one hand) My head hurts, sooo much to catch up on. Welcome to Lizzy and Ella. Hope you all had a wonderful ANZAC day. We went to the service at Alexandra, blessed with a beautiful blue sky and sunshine. I was so pleased to hear that the crowd was bigger than last year (around 400 people) which is great for a little town of around 3000 people. It was a very moving service, especially for OH as his family came from the area. I'm ashamed to say I'd never attended an ANZAC service before - just watched on the tele. It was such an emotional time, and makes us all grateful I'm sure that so many, gave so much ,to give us a better life. Welcome back TA Jude, we all missed you. Very interested to hear about the 'hidden city' of Edinburgh and your trip. Positive thoughts for your No 2 daughter. Rebs and Lew Lew - don't behave yourselves its much more fun to listen to your antics. Love the daily joke. Only 3 sleeps to Yarrawonga and putting faces to names. It will good to have a weekend away from power tools, hammers and nails. lol. Mind you the jaw is going to get a work out. Just think how much faster we can talk than type - getting the picture? Hope Lara's warned the neighbours - she might have to put up an exclusion zone. lol Hello to everyone else - I'm not going to name everyone on the last 10 pages (smart huh) as I'm sure to forget someone and inadvertently upset them. Catch you later, have to do some w**k jude 3 |

There was a little girl who had a little curl Right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very very good. But when she was bad...... She got a fur coat, jewellery, a waterfront condo, and a sports car............ *blows big raspberries at all the goody-two shoes* :-pppppppppppp |

Now that the girl has vacated the 'puter........ Mary's daily, A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown emu behind him. The waitress asks them for their orders. The man says, 'A hamburger, fries and a coke,' and turns to the emu 'What's yours?' 'I'll have the same,' says the emu. A short time later the waitress returns with the order. 'That will be $9.40 please,' and the man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change for payment. The next day, the man and the emu come again and the man says, 'A hamburger, fries, and a coke.' The emu says, 'I'll have the same.' Again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change. This becomes routine until, the two enter again. 'The usual?' asks the waitress. 'No, this is Friday night, so I will have a steak, baked potato, and salad,' says the man. 'Same,' says the emu. Shortly the waitress brings the order and says, 'That will be $32.62.' Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and places it on the table. The waitress cannot hold back her curiosity any longer. 'Excuse me, sir. How do you manage to always come up with the exact change out of your pocket every time?' 'Well,' says the man, 'several years ago I was cleaning the attic and found an old lamp. When I rubbed it, a Genie appeared and offered me two wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I would just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money would always be there.' That's brilliant!' says the waitress. 'Most people would wish for a million dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want for as long as you live!' 'That's right. Whether it's a bottle of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact money is always there,' says the man. The waitress asks, 'But, sir, what's with the emu?' The man sighs, pauses, and answers, 'My second wish was for a chick with natural beauty, longs legs and a large shapely arse who agrees with everything I say.' |
