Good morning (at 6.10am) Rebs, I was shocked when you said you were going to 'write' a letter - you mean you have a writing pad? One of those things with lines on it? ...... Wow - I can't remember the last time I wrote - not only would the recipient not be able to understand my writing, but I wouldnt be able to read it myself!!! To spare my friends, I type my letters !! But SIX pages - that is fantastic! A creditable effort! Vonny, we have had sunshine days here too, some mornings a bit crisp - you never know from one day to another how warm/cool it is going to be. I'm preparing for any type of weather .... so if some of my mountain weather comes away with me, I'm sure you wont mind !! To all who wished me a happy weekend, many thanks 'chest puffed up' I feel like I am going on a biiiiiiiiiig holiday!!! Rebs, I was hoping for just one praline flake - just ONE - so if I dont get any - will you save me one??? Morning folk!! Another lovely day out on the peninsula. Sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky. Wish I was in Melbourne. lol!!! Jood, LewLew........ I know, physically writing a letter on the flat white stuff, pen in hand. It's almost unheard of these days. I had to check this morning that I hadn't dreamt it, but there it is, 6 foolscap pages. Since I was writing around midnight though, I think she might prefer a type written letter next time. My handwriting leaves a lot to be desired these days. lol!!! Lew, wasn't it 70 sleeps yesterday? You should be 69ing it today Hon. hehe!!! Well, off to get some brekky. Here you go Mary, your daily fix. An oldy, but a goody. :-ppp Tom, a handsome dude, walked into a sports bar downtown close on 10:00pm one night. He sat down at the bar next to a blonde and stared up at the TV. The 10:00pm news was on. The news crew was covering a story of a man high up on a ledge of a tall building preparing to jump. The blonde looked at Tom and said: 'Do you think he'll jump ?' Tom says: 'You know; I bet he'll jump' The blonde replied: 'Well, I bet he won't.' Tom placed a $20 bill on the bar and said: 'You're on.' Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar beside Tom's the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the building's ledge and fell many stories to his death. The blonde was very upset, but willingly handed her $20 to Tom, saying: 'Fair's fair. Here's your money.' Tom replied: ' I can't take your money. I saw this earlier on the 7:00pm news and so I knew he would jump.' The blonde replied 'I did too, but I didn't think he'd do it again.' ............Tom took the money. Have a great day, love Rebs x

Well Wattlers, the big news is that 1841 is now on Ancestry . . . YAAAAAA !!!!!! It isn't straight forward how to get in - you do your general search - then when you get your multitude of responses. Click over the left box on census and then it will give you the option of years including 1841 Good hunting . . . . Well Von, I'm glad you had a Burton sleepless night because I did too - feel like I know them now, and kept thinking of other angles to take on the search. Will have another go at them when I get home from my lunch with Joodles. Another glorious day on the bay - filled with sunshine and cloudless sky. We have 5 giraffes sunning themselves this morning, No shipping activity thus far this morning, but plenty of little fishing type boats off the end of the main runway so the fish must be on the hunt for bait! Last night was so hot - we had a BBQ on the balcony, but it was so still, like a mid summers night - kept the fan going all night (so it wasn't all the Burtons fault that I had a restless night Von) Anyway got to go get ready to take the big hike out West to meet up with Joodles, so catch you all later. Know how you feel Wilson. I wanted to go to Y'wonga as well, but had to change plans. :-(( LewLew, hoped you have an itchy right (is that right?) palm mate. Money can't buy happiness or health, but it would sure allow me a few more options to follow. Never bothered with Ancestry Laurie. A friend once offered me the use of his sub, but I never took the offer up. Wish I had now, I've got all these Steains bd&m's, pages of the damn things, that I can't match up. I thought they were all London based, now I've found a pile of them in L'pool and surrounding areas. Why couldn't they all stay in one place???

Naughty Vonny - Off to the Corner with you!

Afternoooooon.......:>)) Just popping in to say G'day, and having a bite for lunch Its hailstoning down here and thunder in Melb. and skies are grey......no..make that Dark Grey......lol Dropped into Fawkner Crematorium Cemetery this morning and took a Photo of the grave for the Lady ( Norma ) who emailed me the other day from the U.K......so will 'Attach' a piccie of her Relo's Grave plaque for her and send it off to-night. Least i can do. Peeps have done the same for me in the U.K over the years, so nice to be able to give back a little, and return the favour. Daughter update: She is still living....lol .....but is on a good behavior bond and 6 months hard labour in the garden, and sweeping paths and driveways, raking leaves, and general cleaning up. Mobile Phone is confiscated till the court seems fit to return such item. Well lunch over, so back out in the Hail and rain to do a bit of hard labour meself......:>)) Tony Oz.......Its pelting down here.

Arvo Wattlers My goodness you can all talk! But the thing is.........it's ALL interesting. 4pages and 45minutes later I've caught up. To all of you excited about 1841.....good luck with your hunting. To Joodles traipsing off to Canberra....have a great time. To all you lucky people with grand kids to cuddle.....I'm jealouse! Tony.......ahhhh a huge phone bill! I had that experience with Mark and his mobile some years ago. I threatened to break his thumbs if he didn't stop sending sooo many text messages. It doesn't take long for 20cent txt to add up when you send over 325 in a month. That doesn't even include calls! I think you could use a relaxing weekend so you are allowed back on my barge for a nice river cruise. How does that sound? I'll even get Nefer to feed you grapes. Shaz....Have fun with the grandkinds. Remember you can spoil them ...then send them back to their parents to straighten out pmsl. Anna.......glad to hear your son is moving into his rental house. I'm sure you'll all be happier once that happens.
