I will join you all even though I never knew her. Without you lot starting all that you have for Gaynor I would never of had the guts to join you in raising money. From all I have heard she was an inspiration to you all.

On March 9th 2005, I was travelling back home from a trip to South Wales, having scattered my Mother's ashes in the Sirhowy River, which runs through Tredegar, the town where she was born on March 8th 1911. Because of that, which was a big event in my own life, I didn't get much involved in the grieving for Gaynor, and although I'd met her very briefly once at her last London Meet, I couldn't say I knew her. However, Gaynor obviously meant a great deal to a great many people and her courage and good humour have been a great inspiration to others. What has been achieved in her name, and due to her influence, is admirable, and I'm sure that what she began will continue for a very long time. I'm also certain that Gaynor is very proud of all the efforts she inspired, and I'm sure she'll also be 'raising her glass' on March 9th along with everyone else, bless her. CB >|<

Thanks Deanna, Diana and Daisy. Yes I am very proud of my Mum. I've been out today and got some lemons and Limes. Sod the aquafit! I'm going to be drinking the bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin that Mum got me for my 30th (can't believe I've had it that long - Mum wouldn't believe it either lol) as G&T was her fave tipple before she moved on to Pink milk! I've got Friday off work so I have a day to recover before the trek. Jack x
