Lemon You've blown my argument right out of the water! I thought people from South Wirral were posh!!! (and definately not scousers) and you talk about losing tangerine shoes on the ferry. (Well at least you are consistant and keep to the fruit theme) Hyacinth Bouquet was from the Wirral (at least the actress that played her was) and we all know how posh she is!

Ellesmere port = posh ?? daniel from birkenhead is what is termed as a 'plastic scouser' as are people from Warrington and Ellesmere Port and places like Tranmere.Basically satelite towns that absorbed the exodus from Liverpool in the middle of the twentieth century. and Fred-less of the criminal jokes please regarding liverpool-yes there is an infestation of good for nothing scallies, but the same goes for a multitude of 'white trash ' towns scattered across England. Mr Enfield has a lot to answer for.!!

Oh Lemon I take it all back, you haven't let the side down. You had a matching ensemble. That is posh! However, I'm a little disappointed that you lost a shoe on the ferry - you'll have marks deducted for that. A quarter of my roots are in Liverpool where I was born but I've lived on the Wirral from a young age. Therefore I'm quite impartial if there's going to be a heated debate.
