My parentas married 2 days before my sixteenth birthday as mum was having an op and was scared she wouldn't make it. They were making silly decisions about custody in those days so she wanted to make sure that Dad would end up with me. As long as your legal bases are covered with parental responsibility orders etc and you like your name I wouldn't bother. I really hated my name and since I got rid of it my luck has changed. When I get a letter in my maiden name I always get 3 bits of bad luck! |

I only married as we had baby so it was easier and... I had a horrible maiden name and wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. We have now been married for nearly 8 years. |
