Hi Julie, I think we all feel ignored sometimes and even those of us who appear confident are not always as confident as we appear. Gwynne |

As a Kiwi who only started subscribing in Dec I felt that everybody seemed to know each other and I wondered if they resented my intrusion when I put in a reply but then I thought that the thread is in the public domain so why shouldnt I. Certainly when I have put in a reply I dont always get any response from the others. P.s. PLEASE forgive my intrusion on this thread! |

I think that the lovely people who include you in the conversations make up for the times that some people totally ignore what you have said .... I just laugh when it happens and don't take it personally as at the end of the day I can just walk away and forget about them...... I just concentrate on the threads that are welcoming..... The Welcome Inn is just so lovely and the peeps there!!!! Must be the great Landlord!!! LOL!!! |

I think there's enough evidence here to start an 'Ignored of GR' clique. It seems like whenever I add to a thread people stop using it! Trudes XX |

hellooooo Dee and Em and everyone! Yes definitely! I usually reply to threads because of their title - not because of the poster - but sometimes you get in to the thread and find that the original subject has disappeared after a few replies and developed into a 2 or 3 way conversation. I back out straight away without posting. Funny that someone should mention the Welcome Inn, I have never posted on there because I felt somehow that as I wasn't a 'regular' I wouldn't fit in! Bit like walking into a pub and everyone turning to stare then ignoring you! I've been here a long time, but I do feel deliberately ignored sometimes - mainly by people who for some reason have taken a dislike to some of those I have met lots and made good friends with. Although it could be paranoia!!! Maz. XX |

Maz......I just popped into the Welcome Inn and everyone, including and especially Our Em was so lovely.....maybe it was my Kangeroo tied up outside that warmed them to me as they'd never seen one before?? LOL!!! |
