Hi Gwen, 3 cards not bad... But make sure you nail him for your 40th (Ruby)... a present at the very least is expected for that one! lol my dad bought my mum a Ruby and diamond ring for theirs. Its thier Emerald this year (55?) and he is taking her on a cruise... boy does my mum wear the trousers in their house!! lol |

well marie its as my mum says, at their ages (dad is 84 and mum 80) they dont know how much more time they have on this planet so they are making the most of life.... and good on them i say ;)) |

What is most annoying is the fact that you open a thread, add to it, maybe agree with someone else, and you get ignored. (i thought these boards were about getting everone's take on things) Maybe I'm wrong eh! |

Hi Catherine My philosophy in life has always been to try and put myself in other peoples shoes. It has got me into some interesting situations I can tell you, but I have met some lovely people I try very hard not to judge people, but am not infallible ;-)) and yes, everyone's views should be valued |
