I hope to make it on the 20th May. I live near Norwich and know the city very well. Where about's in the Nelson, at reception or at the bar as you go in the front door Frances? Even though my family arent from Norfolk, I do have some Norwich ancestry as in my London ancestry I found an ancestor who moved to the Smoke from Norwich. If I cant make it I will let you know. Ben

Leigh, Well that is certainly an unusual suggestion and should get us noticed (if not some funny looks!) It is alright for you - you can give yours to your 5yr old to carry, LOL!! Any other ideas? We still have a few weeks to go so plenty of time to come up with some good ideas!

Hi again, Liz, I have only just logged on, thanks for adding the directions, and keeping an eye on the thread during the day. It is great to see so many people keen to come, as I said I will do another head count nearer the time, but please keep this page nudged so that everyone gets a chance to check the latest details. Heather, The get together is just an opportunity for us all to get together and meet up with friends we have made on the boards - or in some cases a good excuse for boozy afternoon! The Hotel Nelson is opposite Norwich Railway Station which is reached from London Liverpool Street Station. If you are coming from Castle Meadow Bus stops head away from the shops down Prince of Wales road, past the night clubs towards the Riverside Nightclub area, and the Hotel Nelson is at the end of P. of W. Rd on the right, just by the bridge that goes over the river. Hope to see lots of you there, Liz

Hi BB, nice to see you on the boards, have been thinking about you. Not sure about how we will recognise each other unless we all make ourselves a badge! Leigh, I have checked with the Nelson and there is no problem with you bringing your 5 yr old along, so look forward to seeing you there. The person I spoke to suggested it might be an idea to let them know numbers nearer the time so will do another head count at the beginning of May. Frances
