Yes, It'll be great fun. I'm supposed to be working on my research right now, so had better get on with it, or I won't have a reason for being away from work at that time of year (to present at conference**quakes in boots**)! Just realised that my GR sub will expire on 20th Sept, so will have to deal with that before I come to Norwich to make sure I'm a bona fide GR member. LOL!! I may have to sleep in haybarns at some point if our dollar keeps slipping against the pound. Typical me to go at this time. In the last few weeks I've already lost about 2.5p in every dollar - which is only earning about 34p now. Cringe! I know - I shall have to come over and win the lottery (it's ok, I'm a British citizen from way back) then convert it to megamillions when I come home! Come to think of it, I wouldn't need a huge win to convert it to megamillions with this exchange rate, would I? Sue. |

In view of the thread from Louise who gets confused by who is who, and don't we all, maybe it would be a good idea to wear a sticker or name badge just to help us absent-minded oldies along. |

I am looking forward to it. Today I visited Suffolk RecordOffice and tomorrow I am having a day trip to London to the Society Of Genealogists. So I hope to converse with you lot next Saturday at the Quarterdeck bar. Is 1pm still the selected time to arrive? Ben |

Liz, I think a name badge would be a good idea, maybe we could all create something which we could wear on the day. Frances |

Can I ask all those with a digital camera to bring it with them on Saturday please. I do have a digital camera but as yet have never put any on the GR photo page. So to be on the safe side it might be a good idea to have some back up. Thanks, Frances |

Hi Just checking in!!...are we wearing wigs, twigs or badges? I will be wearing my hubby on my arm just for the first half hour then he's off to do some shopping for me. We will be quite recognisable as we are both tall and hubby wears a white moustache. It was once quite a different colour...sigh..how time flies. Do you know I have never in 35years seen him without it. Really looking forward to this. kat |

I really can`t believe we have had such a good response this time, and hope that everyone makes it! I will print off the list of names so we can cross them off (can`t you just tell I used to work in a school!) By the sound of it, we should have lots of photos - all we need to do now is find out how to put them on GR! Frances |

Helen and Viv, I have removed the ? from your names on the list. Look forward to seeing you both there. Frances (Making a mental note to always stand behind Yvette so that I am not in the photos) |
