It was a thread called ''GOODBYE, SO LONG, IT'S NOT BEEN GOOD TO KNOW YOU!!!'' posted by a Princess Wonderworm, who said abusive things about the members of the site and about the site itself, and who claimed to be a friend of someone who had recently left the site (of her own volition). But from the wording of the post, it seemed to me that the ''Princess Wonderworm'' was a friend of no one's. The person claimed to have been a member only since 15th March but, as soon as I read the thread, I clicked on the poster's name and read that the tree had been on site a long time before then. I copied the thread and sent it to GR Abuse who quickly removed it.

I looked at that thread this morning, the 'lady' was certainley very angry over something that was said to her friend. For the life of me i can't understand why this is all taken so seriously. This website has one main purpass to help us trace our family history. The general board is for a little light distraction from the work. and that's all. These people who are out to make trouble GET A LIFE. off my soap box now Gill

Just a question which some maybe able to answer. Those leaving 'this so called sinking ship.' are they actual fully paid up members or are they 'hangers on?' No disrespect meant to those who are not 'paid up members'.

Bec

Bec Report 4 Apr 2006 16:52

Ginny Report 4 Apr 2006 16:52
