H ello Hello is anybody there? There must be another rhymer out there? I left my thoughts in rhyme last night but since then no one has been in sight! Just wondered if I have upset you all Or is everyone busy just having a ball!

Up today, at crack of dawn Stifling a great big yawn Very dull it looks outside Under the covers I want to hide Well the weekend’s almost here Hope that Ron has plenty of beer Xtra wine we’ll need to buy Just in case you folks drop by You must agree it’s good to party (hope my dress is not too tarty) Zipping out to walk the dog At least it’s clear, there is no fog

Just seen your rhyme Dorothy G. Shall I tell you what happened to me! Kept my eye on the weather forecast nice and sunny, but it didn't last! Lovely walking with my friend round the reservoir from start to end. Must have gone a mile or two when suddenly out of the blue Not a shower but a torrential storm we sheltered in a bird hide-it was dry and warm! Oh, we were soaked through and through trainers squelching -what could we do? Pleasant chatting to another wet pair although raindrops were dripping from our hair Quickly came home when the rain had ceased and soaked in a hot bath for thirty minutes at least!

Rainy days are lots of fun But I’d rather have the sun So where is Ron? Still in bed? We really need him on this thread The dog’s been walked, was out at six Now sitting here with tea and twix Up last night, very late Chatting to a very good mate Visions of them waking bleary eyed While I sit here with the dog at my side Well enough from me, I need a shower May be back, but not for an hour
