Think I've got some Baileys hidden away somewhere, will try that. I haven't actually put anything on my arm yet. Went to Boots and they said just to put a cold compress on it so I have been dripping water everywhere! Don't think my hubby would appreciate me taking it to bed though! Going to have my 'medicine' now and will try to get some sleep, see you all tomorrow. Maggy |

It's funny, but I've worked in kitchens for 20 years now and only the second time that I've scalded or burned myself. Not sure whether to take painkillers before bed or try something alcoholic! Maggy |

Hi Betty & Kaz, I work in a kitchen and accidently had boiling water thrown over my arm. It's not as painful as it was, but bet it will be when I get to bed! Maggy |
