Two other men,both of them criminals,were also led out to be put to death with Jesus. Jesus heals a paralysed man. (Jesus said to the Pharisees): is it easier to say ''your sins are forgiven' or to say 'get up and walk?' I will prove to you then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. So he said to the paralysed man, 'get up, pick up your bed, and go home!' The man got up and went home. Matthew 9 v 5 - 6

If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6 v 22 Good News Bible. TUESDAY: I will instruct you (says the Lord) and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Psalm 32 v 8 RSV WEDNESDAY: Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own? Or, how can you say to your brother, 'let me take the speck out of your eye', when there is a log in your own eye? You hypocrite. First take the log out of your own eye and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Teaching about Judging others: Why quibble about the speck in someone else's eye - his little fault - when a (whole) board is in your own? How can you think of saying to him, 'Brother, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the board in yours? Hypocrite! First get rid of the board, and then perhaps you can see well enough to deal with his speck! Luke 6 v 41 - 42
