Theme from the last week: Word / words SUNDAY: Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was with God and he was the same as God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made with out him. John 1 v 1 - 3 Good News Bible. MONDAY: (Jesus speaking) You can be sure that on Judgement Day everyone will have to give account of every useless word they have ever spoken. Your (own) words will be used to judge you - to declare you either innocent or guilty. Matthew 12 v 36 - 37 TUESDAY: The opening up of Thy words give light. It gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119 v 130 Modern Language WEDNESDAY: Be not hasty with your mouth; and your heart - do not allow it to be hasty to utter a word before God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth, therefore let your words be few. Ecclesiastes 5 v 2 THURSDAY: If anyone hears my message and does not obey it, I will not judge him. I came, not to judge the world, but to save it. Whoever rejects me and does not accept my message has one who will judge him; the words I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. Bible verses for last week. Theme: wise / wisdom SUNDAY:.... the quiet words of a wise man are better than the shout of a king of fools. Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one rotten apple can spoil a barrelful. Ecclesiastes 9 v 17 - 18 Living Bible. MONDAY: Happy is the man who becomes wise - who gains understanding.
