Week starting 30th July. Theme: Patience / Wait. SUNDAY: I am still confident of this:I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27 v 13 - 14 New International Version. MONDAY: Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12 v 12 TUESDAY: Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They will rise on wings like eagles, they will run and not get weary, they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40 v 31 WEDNESDAY: Be patient and wait for the Lord to act; don't be worried about those who (appear) to prosper or those who (appear to) succeed in their evil plans. Don't give in to worry or anger, it only leads to trouble. Psalm 37 v 7 - 8 THURSDAY: I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I put my hope. Psalm 130 v 5 FRIDAY: And we exhort you brethern, admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. 1 Thessalonians 5 v 14 SATURDAY: I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord, and he inclined to me and heard my cry. The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
