Thanksgiving to God for His justice. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a place of safety in times of trouble. Those who know you, Lord, will trust you; You do not abandon anyone who comes to you. Psalm 9 v 9-10. Gwyn

What a great thread. Haven't time to read through it all cos pc keeps switching itself off, hot weather, new one coming next week. So hope my favourite hasn't been on already. Sorry it's got to be John 3:16 'For God so loved the world, that he gave, his only Son, that all who believe in Him, may not perish but have eternal life.' After all would you give up your only child for someone good let alone bad, to suffer and die, so that they could go free and live? I wouldn't . But God has done just that.

Depart from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34 v 14 RSV. :) Vonny

James 3 v 17, 18 But the wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle and friendly; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy.
