To have Faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. It was by their Faith that people of ancient times won God`s approval. Hebrews chpt.11 v 1-2.

I am that I am. It reminds me to alway try to be myself, and allows me to not care how others see me.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ. Shall tribulation, or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword. As it is written, For they sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Carol - I find myself being drawn time and again to your post on page 4. If there was ever a blueprint for how we should live our lives that has got to be it !

The eleven disciples went to the hill in Galilee where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshipped Him,even though some of them doubted. Jesus drew near and said to them, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go then,to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples; baptise them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. Jesus is taken up to Heaven. (Ascension Day) After the Lord Jesus had talked with them,He was taken up to heaven and sat at the right side of God. The disciples went and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and proved that their preaching was true by the miracles that were performed. Mark 16 v 19- 20. Forgive me for posting this, out of context I know, but something told me to tap it out. Not from the bible (King George,s message / Minnie Haskins.), but it could well have been and has as strong a relevance today,as when it was written. I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, 'Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown'. And he replied, 'Go out in the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God.
