Our preaching tonight was based on the following: I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Psalm 40 vs 1-3 A Psalm of David, I'm sure we can all remember the 'dark' days when we did not 'Know' God and yet he loved us even then - had mercy upon us, gave his only begotton Son and the faith to believe he died for our sins and placed us in His everlasting arms, forgiven and joint heirs. Jesus heals the sick in Gennesaret. They crossed the lake and came to land at Gennesaret, where the people recognized Jesus. So they sent for the sick people in all the surrounding country and brought them to Jesus. Our bodies have many parts, but the many parts make up only one body when they are all put together. If the foot says 'I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,' that does not make it any less a part of the body. And what would you think if you heard the ear say ' I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,' Suppose the whole body were an eye. Then how would you hear? But that isn't the way God has made us! The eye can never say to the hand 'I don't need you'. The head can't say to the feet ' I don't need you!' ........ all of you together are the one body of Christ and each one of you is a separate and necessary part. 1 Corinthians 12 v 12 - 27 exerpts.
