NannaMoo Report 17 Jul 2006 15:28

Hi Jayne, How about Lady Jayne or Jayne Eyre? I'm Margaret but there are so many Mags/Margarets I didn't want to use those. My 2yr old grandaughter calls me Nanna-Moo so I thought I'd go with that! Nanna-M :) (I come from Eltham..just around the corner form you..Woolwich is where my parents origins are)

Phoenix

Phoenix Report 31 May 2006 13:05

Julie - my Sister is also called Julie and sings the Truly Scrumptious song, substituting Truly with Julie! lol I'm Kaye LaLa* because my Husband made up this daft alter ego for me called 'Kaye LaLa the Witch' - it stuck and he's always calling me it so I thought it would make a good Board name. Kaye x

My husband, daughter and son have all been nicknamed Woody because of our surname - not a lot of imagination used! May change it again to Mrs Woody as I do frequently get called that. I did use the name Woody Woodpecker but can't do the laugh!! Christine

Sane Jayne

Sane Jayne Report 14 May 2006 19:53

Well, isnt it interesting how some of these names originated! Another one I like is Donna's 'Strump' it conjours up a certain picture, but I bet she is nothing like a strumpet!!!!! Cant be becasue I remember reading her messages to do with the Tsunami adn thats nothing like a strumpet...................... Well think I will go with the 'Sane Jayne with a 'Y' as my name, will go and change it. Interesting to see the Grampa Jim hasnt moved off the boards but is now Ancient B..... Thought I hadnt seen any links form him lately Another one that seems to crop up often is Mommylegs,is she the female equivalent of daddylonglegs??? Anyway, off the change my name now!!!

Paul

Paul Report 14 May 2006 19:05

Right, since I've just changed and reverted back to my original name... I was playing 5 a side football at work a while back, and since I'm not what you'd call slim, or fit, one of the guys shouted at some point something along the lines of 'move your a**e chunks'. The name chunks sort of stuck and I started using it on message boards, email addresses etc. After a while, some started calling me chunky instead of chunks, a natural progression... One day the wife and I were eating some Ben and Jerrys 'chunky monkey' icecream, she referred to me as 'her chunky monkey' and the rest, as they say, is history :o)

VIVinHERTS Report 14 May 2006 18:48

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 14 May 2006 16:45

I used to wear a glitter covered bowler with tinsel hanging from it when I went to glam rock concerts. Did change to Glam Rock Chick but this lead to some confusion with another member who changed their name around the same time so changed it back. Also did not want to use my real name as my ex sister-in-law is registered on FR. Maureen

Karen

Karen Report 14 May 2006 16:44
