Sometimes, but no point in fretting about things is there? I can never think of an appropriate reply quickly enough and frequently delete before sending, so I may have meant to reply but just not had the right words or felt I would only be copying what others said. I'm hopeless at thinking of threads - too serious I suppose, but I do join in with lots of others especially if I feel 'safe' in so doing. Christine x

Sometimes you need to persevere....it took me a while to break in, but I kept going. Sometimes think it is all taken too seriously, and we say I am ignored when sometimes it just means...you post a joke...what can anyone say...oh good joke...you post a debate.....it is an emotive subject, some people wont answer because it hurts. its like a paper....not usually read from cover to cover....doesn't mean the bits one misses inn't of interest to another. The answer is work at your threads, be friendly, and don't get paranoid if someone misses you...it happens to us all. Oh and whinging too much puts people off I am afraid.

Haven,t read through all the replies. Think even us regulars feel invisible at times. There are a number of unthinking? threaders who are almost bad mannered about it. Perhaps two replies from Fergie and George. The reply goes to George and Fergie feels put out when a simple 'thanks Fergie' would suffice. We are a fellowship on this channel - a broad church. There are cliques on here but that will happen with any group - some are more like minded than others. A thread like this can only do good if it makes people think. Happy days

I am on a fair amount and still do not get answered on all threads, some people ignore me and make a point of it, but I don't care really always someone else to talk to. I try hard not to ever ignore anyone, but sometimes you go for tea or a smoke and answer but the other person has gone. it happens to all of us sometimes, not necessarily being ignored just overlooked often by accident.

Anne I quite often feel that only the real regular's get replies to thier threads, but maybe that's me being paranoid!!!!!

I know the feeling well, however sometimes some of the threads get quite a lot of replies, suppose it depends how interested folk are, what time they have available etc. There are so many threads posted in any one day that it would be almost impossible to respond to them all.

I posted a question on Thursday and didn't even get one answer. I don't post much and usually just read what others are saying. Lynne

Isn't it just that remarks posted on the General threads are far less likely to need a reply......Then other people are only likely to say......''that's interesting'' or whatever, if they know you....... Merry

Whoosh!! gone - just checked, yes only one post on it:- ''My last day executions (on tips board)''. And having searched for threads with the word ''title'', I saw one of mine from last Saturday night / Sunday morning, and the time warp has got me again, so I shall sit on hands, and turn off the computer.

yes, sometime I do feel ignored. But, to be fair, I ignore a lot of other posts. It isn't rudeness, just sometimes I don't have anything to contribute or it is something in which I have no interest (football, for example). But I don't let it stop me responding when I want to. Gwynne
