Popped in early tonight, as has been another very stressfull day. Topped up log pile & had a quick cuppa, will call back about 8 to see if anyone is about.

Its lovely and warm in here ... Makes a brew and sits down on comfy arm chair ... Oh Wendy ! nearly forgot ..... ! DD is wanting to know if your going the Derbyshire Meet in January ?

DD says to fill kettle up and warm the place through. Flowers are bone dry and wilting .... seems there is some love required in here. Kettle is filled, flowers are watered (lets hope they pick up soon) I'm leaving a huge card on the coffee table, for those who need reassurance and comfort over the next few days. For those who are lonely, those who are sad .... those who need a friendly place to sit and reflect over the last twelve months. Derbyshire Dancer sends her love to all those who feel in need over the coming days and weeks x I leave MY blessings as well. I shall personally be keeping this light on for 'absent friends'.

Well ..... this may or may NOT be appropriate .... but this nudge is for Lemon who is leaving us AGAIN .... but this time there is no turning back .... Seems ironic that Derbyshire Dancer was the first and the last to add to this thread ... under the name ' ...against Lemon's departure'. This time, Lemon's departure is understandable .... and acceptable ... as its what she wants ... and she goes in good company ... our Jess. Morning, quiet in here again.... Fills up kettle...

Just coming to check that all is OK. **Have emptied kettle** .... so PLEASE remember to put fresh water in it before turning on again !! ... Have given plants a little more water, these slow release tablets are ok but sometime's they just don't release enough moisture ! Anyway, everything sorted. Just a quick squirt of Honeysuckle .... Its been a couple of days ..... so I'm gonna have 5 minutes with a cuppa ..... and leave the door open, let some fresh air circulate. Plants indoors seem to be doing OK, but the Rose Bush ouside needs a little TLC. Have got some air spray - Honeysuckle perfumed .... so that will freshen the place up a bit. *before I leave I think* Kettles boiled ... ahhhh the aroma of fresh coffee :-)))

Replaces bulb for an Energy Efficient one :-)))) now we never ave to worry about the bulb going do we ! .... well, its good for at least 5 years, which is longer than me !!! :-)))) Am putting 'slow release' moisture tablets in the plants as well, so I don't have to worry about all the lovely flowers wilting from neglect. Alls well .... Nite NIte Elaine ;-)

No one been in .... thats good then :-)) Just gonna plug this Carbon Monoxide Detector in here ... best to be safe than sorry ... and it won't harm will it ! Gonna take a packet of biccies to bed with me and my cuppa coffee :-)))) Doubt anyone will miss them !! Everything seems OK in here still. Am lighting another candle .... the other one burnt down and went out safely xx Best think about replacing this bulb with an Energy Saving Life Long one. *Makes mental note for tomorrow* Nite NIte Elaine ;-)

Dropped a little colder today, so am shutting window. Watered plants ..... Kettles cold, so obviously all is well with the world :-))))) *Throws out stale biscuits* ........ plenty of unopened packets !
