Opens windows WIDE, let the air circulate. Have loads to do, so best make a start. Elaine ;-) Speakers in place, music sorted. Microphone has been tested ... and is working OK ! Guests notified x Tables laid in readiness ! ...... Plates / serviettes, sausage's, sausage rolls, Cheese n Pickles, Voulevents, savoury biscuits etc .... just something to get us going :-) Booze and drinks out on side ready, with plastic glasses etc Extra tables and Poles (for the pole dancers !!) Banners and Balloons up blown up and hung etc .. Streamers on the side ready ! Fan fare cued up on system ...... now we wait !!..........

Thinking about food and the preparation ..... maybe a gang of volunteers could all prepare something and bring it with them ? Can we have a list of volunteers please ? I'll bring: Sausage Rolls Sausage Sticks Cheese/Pickle Sticks Prawn Voulavonts (sp) Dish of Rice Eggs in Mayonaise Tomatoes/Cucumber (Salad) any other volunteers ?? Elaine ;-) *finishes first cuppa*

Anyone around ? I could do with some help ! Several rolls of Cling Film (for the food) Paper Plates of varying sizes Plastic Glasses - various shapes and sizes Plastic Cups Serviettes - Lemon coloured of course ! Balloons - mostly Lemon ones ! Streamers Table Platters Cocktail Sticks Have got a canister of Helium Gas as well, but I'm hiding it :-) cos we don't want setting up with Pinky and Perky !! pmsl ... Some more music ... have got the Base Speaker as well ... and Microphone with stand, Disco Lights .. not sure about - as they are rather big and can be dangerous if left on too long ..? Circuit Breaker (just in case) and some (not all) booze ... now then, maybe I should stash this in the attic for the time being ???? Will see what else others are providing, and then tomorrow we can bring in the food stuff and start preparing .... (oh boy, that'll be a mammoth task !) Just giving plants a little water and a bit of food as well, just to perk them up a bit :-) Right, kettle on ....I'm Cream Crackered ...*makes mental note to get Cream Crackers and other savoury biccies* .time for a cuppa me thinks :-))) Elaine ;-)

Morning everyone ..I'm back from my few days away ! I've not been anywhere ! ... but have had things to do. Thanks Ann for taking such good care of everything, so I am disposable then, thats good to know ! I've brought LOADS of goodies ! Chocolate Gateau Strawberry Gateau Rubarb Crumble & Custard Cream of every description ... biscuits of every description the list is endless .... but mustn't forget the Lemon Meringue pie !!! extra large !! I've brought some more music on CD as well ... there is a mass of choice here for everyone, and I'll get the CD player in a minute ... just need to dump these speakers down, they're quite heavy !! I'll be back later .... have loads of stuff to do in readiness for Lemon's home coming ! .... hope we're all ready for a bit of a party ?????? Elaine ;-)

Sneaks in, replaces biscuits she ate, together with a big raspberry pavlova and some Cornish clotted cream for peeps in need of comfort food. Stops at the candle and says a prayer for Lauren, my daughter in heaven with the angels. I know her granny and grandpa will be looking after her till I get there. Night night xx

Well on my own in here for another day - only 3 to go and have completed 8 weeks Nothing to do no tidying - plants dont need watering tonite I've become quite used to talking to myself over the last few weeks and find my conversation quite witty and intelligent - who needs people lol Well little pips not long now till mummys back but dont get too excited or you'll make yourselves sick - dont worry if she is a bit distracted when she returns as she will have lots of catching up to do Sleep well all xx
