Sorry folks had unexpected visitor and had to cut my post short. Under the circumstances until I know how Gaynor and John feel about still taking part in the relay it is hard for me to make further plans. But I do need to make contact with Marion and Jules of the Desert. Diane and Lee are to hand GB over to Marion at Chorley LDS. I need a date asap. I am not sure when June last had contact with her. So if anyone is in contact with Marion can you please ask her to get in touch with me asap. If Jules could get in touch also please, as I need to know where abouts she lives because if Gaynor and John are unable to take part I shall have to pick up from Jules. I am able to pick GB up any day from Tuesday 25th -Sun 30th July. But i do need a date so we can book into B&B for the night. Thanks everyone. Jenny xx

GB in WIRRAL GBs last day with me. We spent the afternoon doing a driving tour in West Wirral stopping for photos which didn't involve having to lock or close the car windows if possible as it was too hot for me. First we went to the Wirral Country Park, the views across to Wales were still hazy as it was incredibly hot. Then we drove along the coast through West Kirby, Hoylake and Meols then to Leasowe Lighthouse before it was time to head inland to collect my twins from school and go to Seacombe ferry to meet up with Wendy in Wallasey. Wendy brought her little girl Stephanie who took charge of GB while her Mum tackled the luggage! GB was having lots of cuddles as we left. Teresa GB is now with Wendy in Wallasey.

Hi Mommy and all, So sorry I didnt post a message to you all last night, this is a very busy house and by the time wendy got to put the computer on it was nearly 3 a.m and we were both too tired to write, SORRY xxxxx I arrived as planned yesterday, thank you Teresa, Hannah and Christopher xxxxx, Stephanie cuddled me nearly all the way home but as we are almost the same size I think I got a bit heavy after a while so Wendy took over. Wendy has to wake Thomas and Stephanie up for school in a minute, they've only been asleep an hour!! I had a good night with the kids and played lots of silly games, I'm going to school with thomas today to meet his teacher and all his friends, then hopefully a bit of R&R with Wendy before picking steph up for the afternoon, then off to swimming lessons with Thomas after school. I will write again later, I promise, although I dont know how much later. Looking forward to my 'Ferry 'cross the Mersey' tommorrow. Speak soon, lots of love GB

Hello everyone, I've just left GB in school with Thomas, she has been in front of assembly today, she's well used to the attention so it didnt bother her, I, however went a brighter shade of pink than she is!! Mr Penn the deputy head explained all about GB to the whole school, Thomas was in his element stood in front of everyone with GB, Mr Penn and his teacher Mrs Davies, hopefully the photo worked so I will put it on with any others tomorrow. Good morning everyone. Keith Red Devil has been in touch with me to tell me that Gaynor and John are still able to take part in the GB Relay. This is wonderful news. Thank you Teresa for the lovely postcard showing a view over the Dee from Thurston Hill. I will get it on the relay site soon. PS you photographs are wonderful, thank you. GB is curently with Wendy from Wallasey. The next handover will be on Wednesday, 5th July. Wendy from Wallasey will hand over to Princess Angelic Julie C at the Albert Docks at 1.50p.m. Saturday July 8th. Julie C is taking GB to the Chester Meet, Where she will meet old friends and other members who have not had chance to see her. Honey Rum will present GB with a medal for taking part in the Moonlight Walk. ***A minutes silence will be observed in respect for our June.....*** Wednesday 12th July. Princess Angelic Julie C will hand over to Gloria at Wigan North Western Station, 10.30 a.m. If any members would like to attend you will be made welcome. Gloria will hand to Diane and Lee at the Reebock Stadium, approx. 11.30 am.. Date still to be arranged. Diane and Lee will hand to Marion at the LDS Chorley. Diane I will contact you shortly. Would Marion please get in touch with me asap. Once I have been in touch with Gaynor or Keith I will post other handovers. Jenny xx

Hi Jenny, think it might be better if my handover to Diane is at about 11.30am, or else I will be just taking GB from Julie and doing a runner, which isn't fair if other people have turned up to see her. It will take me about 20mins to get to the Reebok, so that gives anyone time for a photo if they want. Gloria :-))))

Hi all, GB and I had a lovley trip on the ferry across the mersey, Gb helped to pilot the boat from seacombe to woodside then on to liverpool where we met up with julie. It was sad to see her go. GB is now with angelic julie, love Wend xx

Hi Mommy and everyone :-) I'm now at Auntie Julie's. Aunty Wendy passed me over near the ferry and took a photo of me with Aunty Julie then I had to say goodbye quickly so she wouldn't miss the ferry back. Then Auntie Julie and I went along the pier and caught a bus up to the station as by this time the sun had gone in and it looked as if it might rain. We were just walking up the steps into the station when a few drops came down. In the station we got a drink and Aunty Julie made sure she had easy access to my cagoule if I needed it when we got off the train. Luckily by the time we got off I the sun was out again so I didn't need it because it's still hot. We got another bus then a short walk to Aunty Julie's where I met Jessica and Alex. I'm now going to relax with Jessica for a while then we're going to have some tea soon. Bye for now love and kisses to Mommy GB

I would just like to say it was nice meeting Wendy even if it was just for a couple of minutes as she had to get back for the kids :-)

Hi group, it's been a shock to come back and find out what has happened , I now know more of the situation and i am hoping to be there at chester on sat. i'm meeting up with Diane and Lee at the LDS church ... date and time... during week my time slots are ... 9.30-11.30am ...and after 4pm . I was then to meet with Ade at the windmill in Blackpool .. do you know is this still on... no probs if it isn't.. i'm ok to go either direction i live in the lostock hall area and i'm close to all motorways I will be away from the 26th july

Hi Mommy and everyone I got up at 7am this morning and helped Auntie Julie to make sure that Alex and Jess got off to school ok then we had some breakfast before getting dressed. We had a quiet morning before going to Alex's sports day this afternoon. Auntie Julie and I watched Alex and the other kids do the different events both indoors and out and I had my photo taken with Alex and his teacher too. I really enjoyed myself. Later on we brought Alex home with us on the bus instead of him getting the school bus. Some people thought I was a child but Auntie Julie explained to them that I am a special pink bear who is travelling around the country to help raise money and awareness for cancer research. Morning everyone. Have been in touch with Diane & Lee and up to now sunday 16th is the day for us to handover . I'm going to ring the LDS church to ask permission to take photo's in the grounds .especially outside or in the family history unit.
