I'll never forget, in the Shetlands, when I was doing an audio typing class, during a test, we had to use the word 'whom'. I got it right, and being the only 'Sooth Moother' (English person) I was challenged. The old bat (teacher) informed me that 'People in Caithness speak the most perfect form of English', (guess where SHE came from) and I'd only got it right because I was taught for 3 years in Scotland!! - like most 9 year olds use the word 'whom' lol maggie
