Gaynor ,I havent been on Genes for several months now ,but I was chatting to Maz in Cornwall tonight ,and she told me the sad news .I felt that I also needed to add my sincere condolences to you and your family .I too lost my Mum 18years ago and i still go to the phone, to ring her when Im particularly troubled about something ,Gaynor ,I know with the passing of time it does get easier ,but for the time being take comfort in the fact that your Mum ,was a very Special Lady who was Treasured and Loved ,and will be remembered by everyone who has ever been on Genes , for her kindness to others .Your Mum made everyone (who had a birthday on here ) ,feel very special .I for one Thank her from the bottom of my heart .Goodnight and Rest in Peace Dear June .Caz ( Mi duck ) xxxxxx |

Hi Gaynor I never met your mum but I did have quite a bit of contact with her lately because of the GB relay. I liked your mum a lot and had a lot of respect for her. I found her to be a kind, caring lady from reading her posts on the board. Thinking of you all Juliexx |

Gaynor and family, your mum will always be remembered by everyone on Genes and a really kind and caring lady who took time every day to send birthday and anniversary wishes to people she had in most cases never met but it meant so much to an awful lot of people. Carolyn |

Hi gaynor and all fam you know how i feel bout your mum so there isnt anything i can say that hasnt already been said,we had a special bond and friendship i will miss her. My mother died 4 years ago and i still carry this verse round with me ,it helps to read it now and again This is not the end I have only slipped away into the next room I am I and you are you Whatever we were to each other that we still are call me by my old familiar name Speak to me in the easy way which you always used Put no difference into your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together Play ,Smile think of me ,pray for me Let my name be ever the houshold word that it always was Let it be spoken without effect, without the shadow of a ghost in it Life means all that it ever meant,it is the same as it ever was, there is no unbroken continuity Why should I be out of mind because I am out of site? I am waiting for you,for an interval ,somewhere very near, just around the corner....... All is well you know where I am if you need me lots of hugs and love keith and sandra |
