Pray too for strength for my Dad who I have just had to leave at her hospital bedside x Love you Pat, but you know that anyway x Elaine xxxx 6.45am. Monday. Heard from my Dad last night at 10.30pm. He'd gone home to change and freshen up. Pat's 2 daughters had arrived from down south and all 3 were staying at the hospital last night if possible .. although I wasn't sure if it would be, but I can't see the hospital turning any of them away during the night ? No news is good news, and I haven't heard anything since. No alarm clock needed for us this morning, and this from someone who can normally sleep for England and usually needs at least 10 hours sleep. Nature is a wonderful thing x My Ex went home last night, he finds it difficult to settle here, but as we agreed, even if I was to get a phone call during the night, there would be no point me going back to the hospital. The one's who should be with her are, and that's what matters. Dad went out at 9.30 yesterday morning and rang home several times, but Pat wasn't answering the phone. He eventually phoned me at 1 ish and asked if I could get round to the house. I found Pat collapsed on the floor ... she'd been there since 10.30am at least. Her daughter had been ringing since 10.30. I called an ambulance and the news is that she has Phneumonia (sp) in her right lung, and has possibly had it for the last 4 or 5 days ... which would account for Dad's worry this last few days. He said she had gotten really poorly. Anyway, sorry, think I needed to get that of my chest x THANK YOU everyone for all your support, prayers and thoughts. Elaine xxx *** Pat passed away at 8pm tonight with her family with her. |

Thanks everyone. Son has just arrived home, so I'm being kept busy for the time being. Ex has come to stay the night, so I have transport if I need to get back to the hospital. Thanks everyone x Elaine xx |
