Blondie! lol Nina Simone - Nope.....died too recently (I love her) I wonder if the problem is that this lady maybe wasn't that famous, but had done something like sung the latest theme for a James Bond movie, or similar and so did the ''rounds'' of all the talk shows? Merry |

Ella Fitzgerald is hubby's stock answer, but my lady died after 1994, as I remember sitting in my lounge (here) on New Year's Eve and seeing one of those ''who died this year'' lists with her on.....and I was shocked because she had been so ''larger than life''.....We moved here in 1994........... Well, I don't remember a great deal! lol Female Dead (about 5-10 years ago) American (I think) Either soul or jazz singer Black Died in her 50's, unexpectedly (well, unexpectedly to me) Short Plump Very, very short grey/white hair Fantastic laughing personality Lots of rings and fancy finger nails Was on Parkinson or similar, a short while before her death Had a toy-boy husband of about 20-odd who appeared with her So.....who was she...????? Name probably won't mean much (lol) so I will need to see a picture to confirm!!! LOL Hubby would be very glad to see me put out of my misery! lol Merry xxx |
