Had a call from my mum last night to say nan had been taken to hospital following her collapsing at her care home. She is 95. I spoke with the doctor at the hospital last night and was told she had had a major bleed in the brain and there was little hope of recovery. I drove to my mums last night to take care of my dad (very ill) while mum, aunt and sister went to the hospital. She was unconscious to begin with but after my sister had been talking to her for a time opened her eyes and said goodbye! They left a while later and today so far have been told there is improvement. Mum has not been able to speak with a doctor to be updated on her condition though. Please send your thoughts to her. Thank you Dianexx |
