There on the road again, heading towards the Tyne Tunnel to go UP the A1 towards Edinburgh. Took some sarnies, salad, Muller Rice, Satsumas and one Banana, cans of pop and something similar to after eights. Had a picnic on the beach at Tynemouth. We did intend going for a paddle but Danny Boy would not take his shoes and socks off. Said he did not have a change of socks. In fact he doesn't have a clean shirt as he had to blow his nose on it, as he'd run out of tissues. Went for a quick drink in the Park Hotel, Jilly only had a coke. Have got a few photographs, will get them on GR next generation in a mo. It was good to see them all again. Jenny x |

Cheers Anne. Just spoke to young Danny Boy and Lemm's. Jilly was shouting in the background. They have no maps and not a clue where they are.. ..From what we can gather they are in Durham and about to get on A1 at Scotch Corner. Just hope they have a £1 for the Tyne Tunnel. Meeting with them in about an hour at the Park Hotel in Tynemouth. Shall I throw Danny Boy in the sea? ringing them back in ten mins, any messages? Jenny x |
