I only have one and always have had. I am not clever enough to keep changing my name, so it's always been the same. I do get very confused with the nick names I must say. Jacqui

Good point Gloryer !!! Betty Boo I would never suggest having more than one account unless you really have too, & certainly then only for tree purposes. Sadly there are a few peeps on here that are using multiple accounts for more devious reasons!!! :0)) Joan

In the message that was posted in the last few days genes stated they had 5 million members. Maybe they mean 5 million trees cos loads of people have more than one account for varioous reason. i.e adopted tree and birth tree and divorced partners tree etc. so maybe the figure they quoted was exagerrated.

Hi all, I didn't even know you could have more than one account!!! Does that mean you have to pay the yearly payment for each account then. How do you get more than one account on GR anyway. Betty

I have one account on here and one on Friends Reunited. In the 'schools' and 'roads you used to live in' I appear as my maiden name. Janet

I have two accounts because as some one else mentioned earlier unlike FTM this site cannot cope with my tree all on one account. I have one paid for account in my real name and one unpaid account in my husbands real name so I can keep all branches of our trees. Helen x x x

I did have 2 about 2 years ago. They told me I needed 2, one for mums birth family and one for her adoptive family. It got really complicated - or maybe I'm just thick, but my dad now looks like he was married to 2 people with the same forename at the same time! I cancelled the 2nd account, so can I join your club now? Jo

Only one and have only ever used the one name for posting etc this is my married name but my tree is in my maiden name of course. This might cause confusion but I don't know how to change it to just my maiden name. Pat

I have 2 dont ask me why well I have 2 acc no: but only 1 account I have always used to same name but I registered think it was when they first got going then had a break for a while then re registered and they gave me a new number and I have always stuck to this no: the only reason I knew was I was looking for something and noticed same person looking for same rellies so messaged and it came back to me lol Linda
