Stelly - you obviously don't watch the programme Hotel Inspectors!! There is this themed hotel in Blackpool called Sparkles and run by Mrs Sparkles ,each room was themed for kids i.e a Barbie room, 101 Dalmatians, Lion Witch and Wardrobe where you enter the room through a wardrobe hung with clothes, etc etc - the dining room was Captain Nemo and so on. The Hotel Inspector went in and helped the woman Mrs Sparkles tone things down a little and make it more tasteful. I just typed Sparkles hotel in Blackpool and it is in the list, then when you are in there you can find lists of other hotels in the area, also came up Bizeurope a site for hotel finding in different cities, just click on the one you want, and there are big descriptive passages about each one. So if you o.h isn't into kids themes and you can't face Mrs S. (who is expensive but only has a few guests at a time) you may find something suitable on the other sites. Good luck. 40 isn't that old, he might be a big kid at heart and enjoy the theme rooms!!! Liz
