Hey Daniel.......you'll be able to tell us if anything's worn under Charlie's kilt or is it all in working order!!! LOL LOL Anne.....you'd prob be better in flatties as opposed to heels....it's not bad enough for walking boots.....there's just rather a lot of stone steps in a spiral all the way to the top..........and a wee door to squeeze through at the top............only 6 allowed up at a time.....how big is GB??? Would she count as 2??? LOL LOL RDA.x.

Well Polly if you're too wide for the wee trap door at the top then there's not a hopes chance of me getting through it.....we'll send Daniel :-)))) If you want a view for eating Polly then the Cornerstone has one of the best.....it's above the paper shop on the corner??? Can you picture it?? Well it's got windows over the harbour......it's an option to think about............they do good fish & chips and there is an alternative on their menu for the non-fish eater being me!!! RDA.x.

There's the Glenfinnan Monument if anyone wants to climb it, Anne - fantastic view - I'll be passing on that though, no head for heights! Have a look on the net..

Woody's Report 21 Aug 2006 17:30

I've the A96 to contend with first, RDA!! Takes me 15mins at 5.45am - same journey can take an hour and longer at 8.30am! There can't be any more bits of that road to resurface, surely, and we had the 'traffic survey' over 3 days last week; Customs and Traffic Commissioners had a purge about 3 weeks ago.. Surely there won't be any more delays!

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 21 Aug 2006 17:17

Errrr - evening ladies :O) Just a wee bit concerned about the mention of 'climbing' - do I errrr need to bring my walking boots or will stillettos suffice??? lol A x

Sandra B Report 21 Aug 2006 17:14

ok, will book The Steam Inn, pity it doesn't have a good view...but would anyone notice.. We can have a walk round the harbour afterwards.....

JanJan78

JanJan78 Report 21 Aug 2006 17:11

Woody that's giving you plenty time to get there especially with tourist traffic but you know the way so you should be there nearer 11am-ish............Daniel....you're probably safer to sit back and nod & agree!!! Really looking forward to meeting everyone face to face :-) Polly.......will get you some KALMS from the chemist.........if not your stress levels will resemble a whistling kettle!!!! Polly be easier on everyone if we eat out and also we need to keep your stress levels low..........you have others staying with you that you can entertain with your cooking for the rest of their stay but for the day of the meet take the day off woman!!! :-))) So def no.'s for GHH are 11????......any advances on 11???? LOL RDA.x.

Had a total star last year - could have sold snow to the Eskimos by his way of it, only trouble was he'd have burnt it first! One day I'll write a book about so-called professional chefs! Our cook is retirement age on 7th Sept and is cutting back her hours so I need to go down this route again...
