Right troops; Table for Tuesday evening booked.. Time table: 10.30..am Myself and RDA with Mr and Mrs Pussycat, arrive at venue. 11ish Woody arrives 1202. Jane picks up Lemon,McAnne and the boy and Bear from Fort William. Dancing Sheila, not sure of you and Lassie fae Scotlands plans yet... Lunch is a buffet, easier to mingle After lunch, Daniel going up Monument and anyone else who wants to.* If they are brave and daft enough to.* After that, looks like everyone except Woody, coming back to mine.. Will get some photos on then for everyone.. Tea or stronger beverage by then. Might have to get a cake... Table booked for 7.30 in Mallaig. Walk round harbour. Back to mine for an evening of Cliff !! Probably all end on here.. Breakfast here again, Cornflakes Toast Crumpets Bacon, egg and sausage. Hangover medicine. Walk along the beach looking for shells Lunch, more food.. Bung them back on train 4ish.. Collapse in a heap...

Morning Eileen, we have swopped,I only moved to Arisaig last year, but my parents lived here for twenty years.... Small world on here.... You probably know RDA because everyone else for miles does....

Very jealous of you all going to Glenfinnan, I have just moved south having lived near there for ten years - in Arisaig - Local Hero beach is beautiful, and actually called Camusdarrach, or bay of the oak trees, except there aren't any now. The Glenfinnan rail viaduct is the one filmed in Harry Potter, and a lot of the film was made around there. When filming three years ago the Steam train set a large area of Glenfinnan on fire, causing a lot of water drops by helicopter from the loch. Yes it is very scenic, yes you will need lots of midge repellant, and probably a brolly. Ex resident

Hi everyone! Just popping in to say I havn't dropped off the planet, looking forward to next week. Going to Foreign Parts for a few days - away from puter - but Polly has my mobile no if needed, otherwise all set to meet the Train Gang just after 12 next week. And I hoovered out my car today too!! Doubtful about the evening meal although I'd love to, never know might be able to work it out. The chef 'who really wanted this job!' didn't show up this morning - not too bothered as that's the decision made on him! I did 5.30 start for years - even before we started cafe etc, no problem getting up in the mornings but I can't work at night! Got to go and make phone calls, back about 15mins!

I'm still waiting on the weeklies to get back in contact with me but as soon as they do I'll let you know what their plan is :-) They may just turn up on the day you never know!!! Think you've earned a cuppa Woody....what a time to be up at...that's still the middle of the night for me!!! So I think everythings all set for a week today (woohoo!) Polly's organising the evening meal.......she's booking a good place for grub.........if it's dry we'll do a wee tour of the harbour etc. Pussycat's staying in a very scenic place :-) 'local hero' beach no less!!! Hubby is on late shift all that week so he's not finished until 7:30-ish then he'd need to go home for a shower etc but it's better if he doesn't come (that sounds bad! lol) cause then I can stay out yakking until whenever and no rush to get back for babysitter!!! Hi Polly Sneaking in on my lunch break, for once it hasn't blocked me!! I'm coming up on Monday by car and have booked myself B&B for 2 nights in Fort William.
