My darling Mum passed away very peacefully at 6.15am today. Dad and I were both there holding her hands. She has put up the most incredible fight over the last fortnight, and even all the carers and medical staff thought she was ‘amazing’. Her courage and determination are my inspiration. Sadly for my Dad, it would have been their 51st wedding anniversary tomorrow. I would like to say a very big, sincere ‘thank you’ to all those who have added to threads, or sent me PMs, emails or texts. Your kind words, positive thoughts and prayers have been a great comfort and will continue to be so over the next few difficult days and weeks. I’d also like to thank the wonderful Gwynne (Guinevere) who has been in touch with me every day and been a tremendous support. Much love to you all, Mandy xx |
