Hope I can make this one, will check with my mate, who may well decide to join us! Also depends a bit on weather, if the country is snow bound might change my mind, could drive, train or coach. Liz

I would love to come to a meet down south--is it near a station or airport, coming from Glasgow, Ros

Websterbfc Report 5 Nov 2006 09:43

chingford station in a short-ish train ride from liverpool street station, stansted airport is our closest, with a train link that takes you to tottenham hale, where u can change to the underground for walthamstow, at walthamstow you change again to the over ground , chingford is a couple of stops down the line...hope that helps, sounds a bit complicated but it isnt too bad honest lol

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 5 Nov 2006 23:24

Well Shelli it's not strictly a pub I suppose! There is one review that I found, but it is probably 3-5 years old and totally out of date - new owners, new management, completely refurbished etc etc. It's very nice there - we go quite a lot - light and airy, friendly staff and a lovely location.
