Its usually the animals that get me, I watched the remake of Lassie last weekend on DVD and had a box of tissues handy beside the beanbag before I even pressed play. Also Eight Below had me reaching for the tissue box several times, wonderful acting done by the dogs. I do not watch the local shows like Animal House as I know I would be a wreck by the end of the half hour show. On a recent episode of the NZ show 'The Zoo' about the daily life of the animals and keepers at Auckland Zoo Nesha the tiger passed away on the operating table and I was a gonna once one of the keepers in the background started crying. Not these days Caz, when I was a kid we lived on a farm and you do not what know what some of my chores involved (result was roast chicken dinner) Oh and speaking of Robots I always feel sorry for the Robot in 'The Iron Giant' whenever I watch this animated film. Michelle |

~~~~~~wave for ikkle robot~~~~~~~~ I had to google 'Silent Running' and am not 100% sure I've ever seen it, the plot line did sound familiar though, but it would have been when I was a kid. One day at work we were discusssing Armageddon which had been on tv the previous night when the others were going 'oh it was so sad when Bruce Willis' character was saying goodbye to his lady', me while watching was thinking 'can you just get on with it and blow the thing up already' Michelle |
