hello everyone,just read through all pages........phew..........lots of good ideas on here.lots of good points raised.the thread muffers put up is a good one,[i,d only just started my list ]but weve gone a bit off track. so while were off track can i say.......... there are so many [loads]whose threads i like.i may not like the author of the thread,but i do love a good thread.im not petty enough to not read a thread if im not keen on the author. lemon my hearts go out to those you mentioned,but there are others suffering too.how do we know that the person we have shot down in flames is,nt one.worth a thought. i,d also like to say a huge sorry to those caught up in this,thats not ment for any members either side.but the inocents.and we all know who they are.those who avoid,who dont get involved.who are not taking sides.why not make tomorrow a day of peace. a day of calm.we could even do a children in need thing. those that kick off a quid in the tin.?????????? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxjoy

Lemon has got it bang on. That is exactly the kind of posting I was hoping for when I posted this thread. I can't stress enough it was supposed to be a positive and nice thread. I can see that some want this to be deleted and had it not spilled onto other threads with people making accusations about my motives etc I would have done just that. As it is I will let it stand so that my words can be seen by anyone reading the other threads. I do apologise for that. Report to GR by all means and if they say it needs to go I am sure they will pull it. Thanks to everyone who entered into this in the manner in which it was intended. xx

Hi Ann Are you the lady that is involved in GReaders? Yes I like you.You're one of my favourites lol. I purposely didn't mention who I considered people to be friendly with on here, there are so many people that I chat to, I would be bound to leave someone out and offend them. Also, you could mention someone that doesn't consider you as a friend lol. There are people that I like chatting to the most but it is only because I haven't got to know the others as much yet. Oooh just spotted your note about Caz. Yes Caz me duck- that sounds familar. She probably wouldn't remember me but I recognise her as someone that used to post. xx Lesley

jeanette, I have to agree with you. I think that probably Muffy intended this thread exactly how she worded it but she was onto a loser from the start. Besides the fact that we know there are opposing 'teams' on the site who should no doubt avoid each others threads, a thread such as this causes problems for those who are not mentioned and who are sensitive about it. I, from experience, knew I would not see my name here, I don't lay claim to special friends and try to get along with everyone. The fact that I am not named bothers me not at all. It was also obvious that the thread would end up being a vehicle for little 'digs' by people against those who they don't consider their friends and lots of support for those that they do. Some people have responded as requested and it is nice to see those who are appreciated. There are many lovely people on here, I would not attempt to name those I particularly like or don't like. As in life I respond to some and not to others and some I completely avoid. I have been away for two weeks and it is sad to learn that the board still has problems, but I suppose that is life. Lesley, I think the Caz you mean is the one from Derbyshire, used to be Caz me duck I think. She was on here a few weeks back. Ann Glos

As i recently said on another thread the originator of the thread is not to blame when things turn bad............. We all have a CHOICE in whether or not we add to a thread, and we all have a choice in WHAT we say on a thread............. it really is that simple. It strikes me that some people on both sides, or is it more ( I have lost track) make a very conscious chooice in what they say, with intentions that are not conducive to making for a pleasant life. I say BE HAPPY ..... it really is so much easier and enjoyable. for both you and everyone else. Gerry -:))

Thank you Paul for the mention, that was nice:-) I like to read threads of many people on the boards and I have enjoyed contact with many on and off the boards. I can't name them all but I am sure they know who they are with a special big thanks to some for their contact this week :-) :-) I also have a lot of contact with many 'family' that do not use the boards but have been met through GR which has been great. Jacky :-) PS If you hear any shouting in the next hour and hallf it will be hubby either cheering or cursing England playing rugby.
