Morning all, My apologies at not being able to post earlier. On potty patrol with granddaughter! Just to let you know I will be deleting this thread in about 10 minutes to give anyone who posted time to read why it has disappeared. My intention was solely to have a lighthearted thread but unfortunately it has got too serious which was never the way I envisaged it going. Some of you took it in the vein it was intended and others didn't. My fault entirely. I was going to ask for nominations for daft wind up awards ie Queen of the Quizzes, Heart Throb of the Web, Brain of the Boards etc so there could be a bit of lighthearted banter. There are enough threads on here which deal with the more serious aspects of life and I leave them to people who have personal experience and can speak eloquently about them. My threads are simply intended as fun to bring a bit of laughter to people. In future I will think before I type so that no misunderstandings are caused. Once again my sincere apologies for any offense or upset caused. Aileen xxx

To be honest I cant single out just one person, because everyone who posts threads to make us laugh, use our brains on the quizes, have debaits on different issues, support for those members and their familys who are having hard times, the people who help others when they shout for help, make this site what it is and why we come back each day. I agree with Em., and with great respect to Aileen, not a thread for anyone to read who has had a really bad year or is going through an emotional time. There are many members who give of their free time and others who will always need our support, for many reasons..... ....too many names to mention. I don't belong to a 'mutual admiration society' but to a board of Genes Reunited Friends. Sorry to sound cynical but that is how I feel, ( and no I didn't add this because my name is not here ) lol Love and Peace Mau XXX
