I've just had the same Jeanette, roast chicken, just the breast, peas carrots, cabbage, no stuffing, no skin, and no yorkshires, didn't have new pots, so had plain boiled ones. And I don't feel bloated and stuffed like I normally do after Sunday dinner. |

Talking of nibbles, my youngest has been baking again and has just made some cheesey pastry things. I've had to ask her to put them away cos I was going through them at an alarming rate! lol For my evening meal today I am having roast chicken with the skin removed, new potatoes and lots of veg |

Most days I alk for at lease 20 minutes, sometimes more. Rarely use the car, always walk or bus which includes walking to and from bus stop. Our downfall is not so much the daily G&T but the 'nibbles' that go with it! so if we cut out the alcohol we don't eat the crisps etc. Sometimes have a couple of walnuts or brazil nuts and a couple of dried apricots. ann glos |

Ann ...you seem to be happy with your healthy eatting plan...Cutting back swapping choc for fruit (choc is my down fall would not care if never had alcohol ever again .) Drinking water is a great detox init self..alittle excerise is also great but January is not the weather for walking and rushing out and buying excersie dvd is also not a good idea at this stage, |

I haven't been joining in but have been watching. Trying to lose some weight myself so know how you all feel. I am cutting back on fat and vaguely following Weight watchers. have also had 3 alcohol free days this week which always helps. so far today I have had 1 slice wholemeal with benecol (I am not detoxing so not cutting out wheat completely although have cut down and eat benecol to lower cholestrol), bread, two ryvitas with smear of benecol and a slice of light dairy lea plus a WW soup worth 1.5 points. Unfortunately dinner will be outside of the diet as we have two duck breasts to use that we should have had New Years Eve but I was not well. We only drink skimmed milk. I lost 2 pounds this week. Catherine, it is not good to starve yourself, the weight will pile back on afterwards if you do. You don't seem to be eating enough. BC You are just very naughty!! Ann Glos |

Hiya WC I had a couple of dippy eggs and soldiers with low fat spread on in the end. But Livvy has just made some biscuits and the smell is making me hungry again! lol I am treating myself tonight to lots of lovely vodka! LOL. I only go out once a week so I should be able to work it off |
