Thanks for that advice Hayley...as it goes, watching the GI scale is essential in my household, living with a diabetic, it really helps with getting him to eat the right foods....(well sometimes). Also oats are great for helping to reduce cholesterol...so there ner! Nothing faddy about it, this IS healthy eating, and its about understanding what food does for you and what you get from it. Raspberries to you! :-P

Brekky today was wholewheat english muffin with little peanut butter , followed by some yummy grapes...might go back for more! (unfortuantely hubby is off today so we popped out and i had a cappucino. Oops) Gotta go now - should be making soup.. Karen

Just butting in. My downfall is not drinking water. I do like it but forget to drink it and if it is cold it sets my teeth on edge. I actually read Hayley that it was as good to drink herb teas as well as water to make up the 2 litres, would that be right. I know they are not cold though if you say heating the cold water burns cals. Ann glos

Hello! Just had salad and some coucous for dinner. Did you know a whole packet of Asda's Mediterranean Tomato couscous only contains 2.6g of fat? And it tastes nice too! I got your message about the water Hayley. I will do my best but I'm not really fond of any cold drinks.....unless they're alcoholic! lol

Don' tfeel guilty though...that oat muffin is still quite low on the GI scale, because it contains oats which is slow release energy, and the reason you feel so full now. I think you're doing well, so keep it up.
