For the last couple of days OH has had 'man flu' and has been waited upon and nursed. I have put up with the lingering sighs and the whole 'poor me' scenario with good grace. Tonight my throat aches and I have the shivers, kids have had it too so it was only a matter of time til it caught me. I would really love to just do what he did today and stay in bed all day tomorrow so I can fight it off quicker. He has a day off work tomorrow so I thought. Ooo lovely !! Hand school run etc over to him it's my turn to be looked after. NO he's off out buying a blinky car and leaving me to it. GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR if there is such a thing as reincarnation I dearly hope I come back as a man.! xx |

While out shopping for a pair of curtains for our bedroom, My OH said that I was being too fussy and finniky because I wouldn't agree to buy the ones that he chose........which were a totally different colour to the colour scheme in the room......He claims that Brown curtains would look ok with the purple carpet and bedding!!! |

Why do they have to clear their throats 30 times a minute at 180 decibels!!? Why do they go to the loo then come into the bedroom and fart(I kid you not)!!? Why when he has cleaned up a bit does he expect tons of praise, but not a word on how sparkling the house is after spending 1 out of my only 2 days off cleaning?(he don't work either) I love this thread--keep it up, nice to know they're all about the same!!! lol |

OH is tidier than me! Dirty washing goes in the linen basket. Clothes get hung up. Does some housework and gardening. He can cook too! Just can't get him to iron, but I guess I can't have everything! AL |

Empty milk bottles being put back in the fridge - drives me mad!! So does him leaving dirty socks, pants etc on the floor on his side of the bed. In the past, I've piled the dirty clothes on to his pillow for days on end - doesn't make a lot of difference.- they astill end up on floor - and theres a laundry basket just outside bedroom too! |

Well, I got home from work tonight, said I didn't feel to bright, so he told me to lie down, brought me a cup of coffee and then made dinner. But he does annoy me sometimes! When he cleaned the oven last week he missed a bit around the seal and I found a few crumbs on the kitchen floor after he said he'd cleaned it! AL |
