Yes Carol - I did - it was soft accent ......... generally I don't have a problem with that area - oh except for a chap who lived nearby - took me 2 years to be able to hold a conversation with him LOL |

Steve You got there before me - Newcastle are the Geordie's. OH family came from Newcastle and OH still support the team. Not allowed to mention Sunderland in our house. LOL E x Also laughed at my wedding when having to say the bit 'Why I' as half the congragation were Geordie's. |

It's official - I can't help myself - whenever I hear the hint of a Geordie accent it makes my toes curl. Had a call at work this morning from a supplier - gorgeous accent he had - I had to call him back and he was engaged - but did I leave a voice message?? Nope - I waited until I could get thru to speak to him again........... At the end I asked 'which part of the N/E are you from? is it xyz??' 'No - Sunderland' he says .............. love geordie accents says I - give me your personal number says he - anytime said I lolol *sighs* |
