Hi Brenda, and Fred if youve Surfaced. Raining here again but not cold. Hope Fred & Liz are ok, unusual to disappear for a couple of days without saying I use a george foreman type grill, which i put small pies in, but they tend to squish too much, so I put them between 2 slices of bread and it makes a nice sandwich and soakes up the sauce. Hope your well Brenda. P.S. Its still Summer here, Autumn starts in a week or so, and Winter in June. Just thought I'D set the record straight.

But it means I can not do any window shopping!! I love spaggetti hoops with sausages ,on toast ,my comfort food,so I only have it now and again as it is really filling and fattening!!! In the weather we have just had ,we have been thinking of broths and stews etc would say pies but we are not that good with pies(eating the pastry)!! Time to sort out tea ,chicken from yesterday awith new potatoes and veggies, Take care Brenda xx

Afternoon to Brenda ,Bill ,and anyone else who looks in,from a very mild north east of England ,+7c here at the moment ,what a change from the last three weeks ,but it won't last long ,before it slips back to the cold. Way to go Bill ,you have to spoil yourself once in a while ,and your tea sounded very nice ,hmmmmmm ,i may just try that one myself . Tea tonight is a few of these Perogies ,in a dish with a few thinly sliced carrot ,onions and potato slices, done in a cheese pasta sauce ,so i will soon know if Perogies are a regular meal option. I Hope you manage to find a nice holiday option Brenda ,but i'm afraid going overseas is becoming for and more fraut with problems from ticket booking to firms collapsing ,not a nice outlook at all for the foreseable future. Me ,i think back to Blackpool first ,then maybe Wales ,Cornwall ,or North west Scotland ,in many ways just as enjoyable as overseas destinations without flight worries. Going to do a little housework [yuk ] but will be back later.Fred :-D.

afternoon to all ,going nowhere today ,the whole area is like a skating rink with the temperature down to -3c at 7am this morning and has only climbed to +1c by 3 pm,loads of accidents on the roads ,and more than few on pavements,so ,indoors is the best place to be. What a day ,iv'e had lol, first thing was i was unable to get on to the net at all this morning with by broadband down ,then my yahoo messenger went down ,and i finished up two hours into my day before i got my puter up and running. No matter ,things are now sorted out again ,and i am now running my new laptop to see how it is performing ,and i have to say ,it's veeeeery fast and a lot smarter to look at ,but also ,as regards email ,there are still some bugs to sort out ,but hey ,you can't have everything at once . :-D. Hope your hospital date goes your way Brenda ,and hope the old pegs start to settle down for you ,i suppose that when they get that nerve sorted ,things will settle down for you again. Be back later people ,i am running somewhat behind time today he he ,Fred ;-)

Hope you enjoy the stuff you got from the polish shop we have a few near here as there are a large number of east european emigrations near by!!. My legs have not been good the last few days ,hope its just because of the really cold weather and not a proper deteriation/ I have had a phone call telling me I have an appointment on April 5th to see the specialist ,and its at the local hospital so I have not got far to go Better get my ironing done while I can,and am not in anyones way!!. Afternoon all ,yep Brenda ,after a plurry cold night i decided to leave the missus in the warm and go into town on my own to go to the bank ,among other things . I still don't like to do any bank stuff on line ,you don't know who is watching ,apart from the government snoops and treasury agents ,lol, this lot know when ever you sneeze ,and which way you are facing at the time ,not that i have anything to hide ,but this country is getting like a communist state ,and i like my privicy. \anyway ,lol, the trip was well worth it ,having asked a little Chinese lady in a shop ,she told me there was a Polish Food Shop ,just over the traffic lights in Clayton Street ,and off i toddled to have a shufti .result at last ,Fred came out of said shop with two packets of Perogies ,which are now in the freezer . They will come in very handy as soon as i find a recipe to put them in .yum. Now i know where the shop is ,i can go whenever i wish ,it only being a five minute stroll from the market, and i can leave the missus with a cup of tea while i shuffle off ,he he. :-D. Don't know what is on the menu for tonight ,but i will have to be careful for a few weeks ,all these stir frys ,and little puddings have pushed my sugar levels up a bit ,so i have to go on the ol ,sugar no no diet for three weeks or so ,then i should be okay until the back end of the year. I will slip out later on and go get my new puter from Currys ,while i remember ,lol, leave it beyond then and it will go back into stock and i will loose out. :-P. must go and make a cuppa before i go out ,catch you later all ,Fred. :-D.

Hi Brenda, Fred, JB, and Kathleen, Hope you all had a nice Hogmanay. Im back from the Wilderness. as the Bushfire season approaches. So Im Back in Swifts Creek, where I always seem to run into Gale force Winds. Despite tying my tent to my car, the fabric of the tent got ripped in several places. I moved into my emergency tents just in time to avoid a downpour. Anyway I will regroup tomorrow, and get a tougher tent on Tuesday. Glad to see you have your own Laptop Kathleen, and you Fred, upgrading again. I will be next to Upgrade, I have lost 1 laptop to flooding, and 2 hardrives to generator surges Notice you all going thru a cold spell in UK. hope you all survive the Icy Blast, especially you Kathleen. Morning Brenda ,i think for once ,you got the raw end of the deal as regards the white stuff ,once i had cleared the first lot from my drive ,the stuff we got later was more like icing sugar dusting on top of a bun ,lol,,'Im up there must have heard my plea and sent it down to London as i asked, they seem to get the best of everything else ,so why not the snow ,lol. Most of my meat i get from my mates farm up the road ,but once in a while ,if i'm in the town i go into the Grainger market and by my liver ,steak ,kidney ,Hagggis, from my usual haunt ,and he also does the meat parcels ,which look okay ,so i hope yours turn out to be a good buy. Glad ,you got sorted okay with the puter ,sometimes you try to put a new module in an old computer and the mother board goes to hell, you have been lucky ,so i hope the performance is much improved. Just heard from Bill ,poor sod has just had another tent destroyed by heavy wind ,and is now thinking of moving north to better climes ,he isn't having much luck this year, with the extreem ,weather changes over there ,Queensland is now a declared disaster zone ,with water still rising. Have to go now and prepare the dinner ,steak and kidney pir ,roast tatties ,parsnip and onion ,yum. Catch you later all,Fred :-D.

Good morning Brenda i am busy at the moment sorting out my puter after having done the housework for today. It is nice ans sunny here too at the moment ,but is still about -3 c,and is too cold to work outside for anything but emptying the hoover bin ,lol ,weather for the Penguins i reckon. Sounds like you could do with a boot sale to get rid of a lot of your unwanted stuff ,the pennies would be handy for your new puter. I saw my new one yesterday in Currys ,a nice little H P PG6 Series, with a 6 gig memory ,650 gig drive and a very handy little depression on the top left hand side of the on board mousepad ,2 taps on this locks the pad so that you can use an external mouse without the danger of mucking your work up by catching the pad with your wrist ,a great idea. Anyway ,i have ordered it ,but the fella i saw said to leave paying for it until Monday when the price will be down to £360 a £100 saving . Going to upload my tree now ,and put it on disc ,ready for next week ,when i will be bust getting the new ochre coloured lappy set up .he he ,i thought a change from black would be a change :-P. Catch you all later Fred. ;-).
