Morning everybody, back again to a stuffed house, the kids off to school [thank goodness hee hee],Stephen off to work, and Ann out shopping after dropping the two youngest at school.
having Sean as well means that we are stowed out,but we are managing ,and next week we will escape to the van for the last week before it comes home at the end of the season.
I have finished the painting round the new combi, and will shortly go out back and cut the lawn for the last time this year, just in case the specialist at the hospital today orders me to rest it.
Martin got home okay, but is a bit down,he didn't want to come home.
Anyway ,there is a change of plan,Rachael is coming over here to live, for at least three yearsd to see if she likes it,if she does ,they will sell martins house and move upto scotland where they can get a decent bit of land ,plus a house ,but if she want's to go back to oz ,they will all go over together.
In the meantime ,they will be getting married in Oz ,next April,so Fred, and Liz get to go over for a month ,with a view o going to said wedding ,and having a darned good holiday in a country i have always wanted to visit.
I may also get to visit some people [rellies] over there as well hopefully, and a few friends off genes.
I am off out back now ,to mow the lawn for the last time this year, and i finished off the painting last night depite dropping the brush twice [grrrrrr].
This is just in case the hospital this afternoon order me to rst this hand lol,so .just in case i do ,please be prepared for a few more spelling mistakes than usual ,and shorter missives because i am typing one handed.
See you later, take care ,and take it easy [directed to all who are under the weather] Fred.

hi brenda and one and all glad you had a nice time at blackpool it sounded great, for all of you who enjoy mystery books while I was home I bought a pocket book called fallen idols written by a neil white it was a wonderful read, this chap comes from wakefiled in west yorkshire, now lives in preston where he is now the senior crown prosecutor with the crown prosecution service, it is his first book and a great read he had a web site listed at the back of the book so I e-mailed him to congratulate him etc, and to my amazement he replied he knows bury well and lived in ramsbottom from 1996-2000 he was a solicitor there, he will have new book out spring of 08 i believe anyway I can really recomend this first one maybe you have it in your library brenda if not it is worth getting. to-day it is rainy and cold so I have not been out had a great dinner and a movie with the kids last evening bryan should be home from manouvers this pm, also I learned he has a chance to go on a student exchange to france next summer and a french student will come to his house it is for the month of july, they accept a certain number plus it is quite expensive about 2500 dollars, it would help him with the french language and be quite an experience so we shall see what happens, both andrew and lindy speak french it is the official 2nd language over here, laura is doing quite well with it Ian can say hello goodbye and would you like to dance those three phrases being the only one i know being married to a french man does not mean you learn the language. well time to think about making some tea(supper) not even sure what I want bye for now dorothy

had a good visit with Johns mother and stepdad the new caravan is great ,they would live in it all year if they could find a good residential site,.If they sell their bungalow they would ideally like to buy a small place aboard in the sun for winter time and live in the caravan in the summer over here.
Went to a shopping centre with his mother she got a lovelly new coat and I got some pillows for me and John and a duvet cover for Davids bed.
I also got a cardigan for work and John got some shirts for the holiday .all in the sales so we didn't spend that much.
Hope you enjoy your books Dorothy
Have to start getting lunch ready.See you tomorrow I hope after my visit to the dentist.

Hi everyone
Believe it or not it is actually our spring, the offical skiing season is over. The weather over the last few days has been fine although heavy showers had been forecast they didn't eventuate. Gayle and I went with seven others to a concert by an Australian choir in Palmerston North on Friday evening and returned to New Plymouth before Saturday midday. The trip down was fine but the trip back was mixture of rain and sunshine.
If you see me chatting here in coming weeks you know I renewed by GR sub, bye for now.

Hi all,
Feeling good today. It is amazing how I can feel so poorly one day and so bright the next, but that is just how I am.
Congratulations on your 50th wedding anniversary. Quite an achievement 50 years. Johan and I had our Golden wedding anniversary last year 17.03.1956. and even had some flowers from the mayor of the town here.
Beautiful weather here still. It can stay like this until Xmas and then get better.
