I am in a place (or I will be very shortly) that was once quite pretty with a lawn and various plants and bushes. It is now so overgrown that you can barely see the any of the plants, just loads of weeds. I shall be back later to tell you where I am (or was):)))))

Awdrey it is Manchester, it was where they Peterloo Massacre took place. Mrs Gaskell did a lot of work with the poor of the area it seems Karen and Chrissie what did you have on your birdseed this morning?? I am giggling away here, hubby thinks I have gone mad (madder than usual that is) ;-))))

Known as the centre of the textile industry it was probably the birthplace of Chartism Dee ;-))

Awdrey Is yours Chichester? (although if you've settled down with Martin Shaw, you may not reply!) I have ancestors from Chichester also. I'm sure I've seen a blue plaque for Holst, but can't for the life of me remember where! Angela
