Last one from this little booklet. Two picturesque bridges, each with an unusual design, across the river which flows through this university city, famous for one of it's college chapels and a dish of pears spiced with cloves and ginger which originated in the area and now bears it's name. Where are you now? Previous answers - yes PLYMOUTH - the Hoe to be precise - (my home town) and Cheltenham. Good thread - I shall really have to make my own up now. |

Hi Caz, Gwynne got Canterbury for the Thomas Becket/ Rupert one. Pocahontas was somewhere different ;-)) Linda, crocks brings to mind Stoke on Trent, but not sure if that fits the other two clues ;-)) |
